"My wife bought me "Training a Retriever Puppy" as a Christmas gift. I have watched it twice and will watch it many more times. It is very informative and your presentation was great. I'm wanting to add a link to it to my website, because I believe anyone with a puppy should have this DVD."

How to start EVERY training session
To be sure your dog is in a good learning frame of mind you must
"get your dog excited."
Use a squeeky toy, a ball or whatever works for your dog.
They cannot be grumpy, grouchy,
sleepy, disinterested, or afraid to be in the right frame of mind for learning. Those that are "born excited" are dogs that you don't want to add too much excitement,
maybe a walk is all that is needed for this kind of dog. You have to read your dog to be sure they are in a good frame of mind.
Training your Pet with the Electric Collar shows consecutive training sessions with a mixed breed
one year old pet "Tilly" which has never been worked before the camera started shooting the
lessons. In other words the dog is being trained in front of the camera. This film does not show a
dog that is already trained and merely showing the end result. No other video has ever been
produced that shows the actual training of one specific dog over a period of time, using the electric
collar. It's much like a slow motion picture of a flower beginning to bloom. You will see the first
time "Tilly" hears the "sit" command and the first time she walks on a line.
